Pretty easy to batch organize and batch process. However, lots of things can be done auotmatically with On1 RAW and I like the export process as I can flag things, set them to be resized, output as TIF or JPG or whatever I want, etc. I finish off everything in Photoshop CS5.1 as a pixel editor.
I generally use On1 RAW for RAW manipulation and conversion. I have not used Capture One so I cannot comment on that. The modules like HDR and all that work really well too. But I particularly like it for Fuji FAW files when it comes to shadows and color, etc. I'm still using On1 RAW since I went Fuji. My results from the sliders is greatly improved over 2018, so my final result is now the best with On1 2019. I've been waiting for the "Libraries" to come out for Luminar in December to see if it is any good before deciding on a "GoTo" software.Īfter downloading the beta for On1 2019 my decision just may be made. Adobe has gotten behind while chasing some cloud somewhere. Luminar gave the best results, but is only a plug-in for now. Of the four I have preferred using On1 2018, but felt I got better results with Capture One. But if I add Photoshop to the mix and just call it Adobe then the four are all competitive. The three mentioned surpass Lightroom in performance and give better images with Fuji files. I have On1 2018, Capture One and Luminar plus many others with the intent as a replacement for Adobe. I just pre-ordered ,then downloaded the beta version of On1 2019.
